Three Rivers District Council

GHP is facilitating a Perception AREA: snapshot project in South Oxhey. Simon Grennan and Christopher Sperandio of Kartoon Kings met with local residents during a 10 week period to discover how best the development of their local library can provide the activities and services they need. The artists have designed a high quality, visually attractive book presenting the ideas, visions and suggestions of local people for their revamped library.

Through the Green Heart Partnership and in collaboration with artist Simon Lee Dicker,Three Rivers produced ‘Planning for Open Space, Sport and Recreation: Three Rivers Guidance Document’, to develop visual concepts for imaginative and creative open spaces on future developments of any size.

Three Rivers then worked with the county council, other district councils and other partners in Hertfordshire on ‘Redefining the Concept of ‘Park’ for the 21^st Century: Open Space’. Working alongside artist Lorna Green and landscape architect Oliver Rock, they developed a cohesive and multi-use concept of park.
