Policy Development

The GHP approach allows local authority officers the space, time and support to find creative solutions to help address several planning policies and strategic objectives simultaneously.

The following two GHP projects have resulted in planning guidance documents which investigate the collective needs for open spaces, inform their management and provide guidance to developing open spaces in a holistic manner. The documents will serve as a tool for managers and senior management teams to work with their partner developers in Section 106 negotiations and with regional / national funding bodies.
