Green Heart Partnership is looking for creative practitioners/artists who can demonstrate the use of innovative models for community engagement and public consultation.
Green Heart Partnership is working with all of the Hertfordshire local authorities to develop new models of creative cross-departmental working practice. Supported in partnership with the Arts Council England, East, this initiative is pairing the arts with the environment and capital development departments to explore how creative-led collaborations can assist in creating more engaging, appealing and environmentally sustainable communities.
We are looking for artists who are interested in:
- Developing innovative methods
- Creating high-quality end products
- Collaborating with professionals outside the arts
- Identifying the creativity and value in others
- Reaching the marganilised members of the community
GHP is a forward-thinking initiative supporting individuals and teams who challenge existing practise to work towards a joined-up approach that equally values the process and the end product. GHP considers that ‘art’ is a part of how we address our public realm, and not solely an isolated portion of the physical environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to engage as an integral part of this country’s largest supporter of the arts: local government.
Projects take place throughout different councils of Hertfordshire.
Send cover letter explaining your interest and describing your most innovative practise in this arena to date, and a CV demonstrating your experience and diversity in this realm and at least one reference from a project manager or director. Please also send the resulting documentation of the project [e.g. website address, booklet, film, images, etc] where possible.
Please include existing committed dates on your CV or in the body of your letter. We shall forward more detailed briefs as appropriate projects arise.
