The Green Heart Partnership


Green Heart is a Partnership initiative between Arts Council England, East and the eleven local authorities of Hertfordshire that aims to achieve growth and capacity between the arts and environment sectors. It looks to effect social change through policy development and realise creatively led capital development through informed joined-up decision making.



Innovative New Artist-Designed Bridge Completed

One of Green Heart Partnership's (GHP) first projects comes to fruition with the opening of the new footbridge over the river in Bishops Stortford.

Goods Yard Bridge Completed Appointed artist, Alasdair Currie, has worked with GHP, East Herts Council, Barratts Homes, and Architects Chetwood Associates, to create this innovative new design to
replace the original ageing inaccessible footbridge.
