Stevenage Borough Council

Stevenage Borough Council has worked with GHP and artist Trudi Entwistle on the Stevenage Gunnels Wood ‘sunken’ roundabout project to design and implement a showcase design.

Following the success of this model, the partnership addressed the redevelopment of the Town Centre Gardens, artists Beverely Carpenter and Patricia MacKinnon-Day captured in a short film people’s perceptions of the park. Their findings are informing a management plan for the park and its redevelopment.
